A lover of music and an experimenter since a young age, Long Island, New York's Madison Elle Beer started posting videos on YouTube of her singing covers of popular songs when she was 13 years old in 2012. Within a couple of months, pop superstar Justin Bieber came across her version of Etta James' "At Last" and shared it with his 25-million-plus Twitter followers. The media attention that followed led her to sign a recording contract with Island Records and a management deal with Bieber's management the next year. In the year that followed, Beer was also cast in a small role in the film Louder Than Words, which included David Duchovny and made its film festival premiere late in 2013. Her debut single the melismatic, poppy "Melodies," also saw the light of day in the latter part of that year.Beer's vocals started appearing on songs by other artists such as Cody Simpson's "Valentine" and 2015's club track "I Will Not Let You walk away" by Mako. She released her solo debut EP , As She Pleases, in 2018. "Home with You" reached the Top 30 in Norway while the EP made it to half the Billboard 200. In the same year Beer released the single that was not an album "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
